SkunkForms ("we", "our", "us") is a WordPress plugin developed by Skunk Global Ltd. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
The short version: SkunkForms is a self-hosted WordPress plugin. Your form data stays on your server. We don't have access to your form submissions, contacts, or CRM data unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes.
What We Collect
When you visit this website
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- Analytics data via Google Analytics (anonymised)
- Cookies for site functionality and analytics
When you download the plugin
- Email address (required for download link delivery)
- Whether you opted into the mailing list
When you purchase a Pro license
- Name and email address
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your full card number)
- License key and activation data (site URL)
When you use the plugin
- License validation checks (Pro only — sends license key and site URL to our server)
- Update checks (standard WordPress plugin update mechanism)
- We do NOT collect form submission data, contact information, CRM data, or any content created within the plugin
How We Use Your Data
- To deliver the plugin and license keys
- To process payments
- To send product updates and security notices
- To send marketing emails (only if you opted in — you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To provide customer support
- To improve our website and products
Your Data, Your Server
SkunkForms is a self-hosted plugin. All form submissions, contacts, CRM data, and analytics are stored in your WordPress database on your server. We have zero access to this data. You own it completely.
This is fundamentally different from SaaS form tools where your data lives on someone else's server. With SkunkForms, if you uninstall the plugin, your data remains in your database.
